Coffee is the very core of our business. We offer a huge range of exciting single origins for espresso and filter brewing.
Once we source new, exquisite green beans from around the world, each coffee will then go through a series of test roasts and cuppings to determine the best possible recipes. After that, every coffee is ‘profiled’, unlocking an array of flavour, olfactory and tactile nuances that remain unique to its origin, variety and processing method. Much like preparation of the coffee beverage itself, great roasting involves quality ingredients, consistent equipment and a sharp know-how to bring it all together.
Craft coffee roasting is as much science as it is an art. It’s not as simple as turning green to brown, but understanding the organic chemistry of green coffee and how various types and stages of heat transfer can affect the bean. Subsequently, this can then be used to skilfully unlock hidden flavours of exquisite coffee. The ‘Art’ is the ability to repeat the exact roast recipe to deliver the exact cup taste, day after day and month after month.
When you taste a spectacular coffee, you want to be able to repeat that time after time. Therefore, we’ve implemented some intense quality-control processes for every roast to ensure consistently excellent results, before packing and sending it out to our customers.
