What Makes This Decaf Special?

 

This coffee turns everything you thought you knew about decaf on its head. It’s rich, vibrant, and packed with the kind of complexity that makes people second-guess whether it’s really caffeine-free.

Decaf often gets a bad rap – thin, flat, lacking that something. Not this one. This is a full-flavoured, fruit-forward powerhouse that confidently holds its own in any specialty coffee lineup. It’s already had seasoned tasters doing a double-take.

 

Sourced from San Adolfo, Acevedo, Huila, Colombia, this coffee is produced by Brayan Alvear, a grower with deep-rooted expertise and an obsession with flavour. Working alongside 60+ farmers, he’s pushing boundaries with innovative processing to create something truly exceptional.

The cherries undergo a 120-hour anaerobic fermentation, supercharged with dehydrated passionfruit pulp, dialling up the fruity intensity before being carefully dried over 144 hours in mechanical silos, followed by a 30-day maturation period in GrainPro bags.

Flavour Profile

  • Espresso: Caramelised pecan pie, passionfruit, honey, and peach jam, with a silky-sweet pineapple and chocolate-toned finish.
  • Long Black: Juicier and more expressive – bright tropical notes with lingering sweetness and complexity.
  • Flat White: A total transformation – banana shortbread biscuit vibes, with a creamy, praline-like finish.
