Specialty Batch Coffee is a Dubai based, homegrown brand backed by a wealth of industry knowledge. With roots in Melbourne, Australia, we bring a solid 24+ years of combined speciality coffee experience & expertise to the table.
What makes us different? Well, heaps really. But first and foremost – the owner, Ryan Godinho. Not only was he the UAE’s first SCAA and SCA Lead Instructor and Authorized Trainer, and the first WCE National Barista Championship Coordinator and education partner assigned to the UAE back in 2009; but he also assumes many active roles, every day, as head coffee roaster, green coffee buyer, barista trainer and quality controller for Specialty Batch Coffee. The company output and brand image are more than just jobs – it’s in his personal, mission-driven interest to ensure consistent quality and long-term business relationships, above all else. Ensuring mutual success in the most organic manner possible.
Founded in 2013, with the aim to raise cafe standards in the UAE; we wanted to establish the foundation of ‘specialty coffee’ through our commitment in providing consistently high-quality coffee, equipment and follow-through service.
