For over 50 years Anfim has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing professional espresso grinders from their factories in Milan, Italy.  The company ensures the most efficient and sturdy construction of all their grinders with a focus on coffee grind size uniformity, speed and ongoing consistency. SP II + P (2023 model)

The SP II+ can easily be considered the gold standard of espresso grinders; with its long-life titanium burrs that are known for producing a clean, sweet cup with the perfect balance flavours even in the busiest of situations.

New features on the SP II+ include:


  • A durable proximity sensor automatically detects a portafilter that stays unaffected by intense use during busy hours.

  • Step-less grind adjustment along with a user-friendly 1/10 of a second precise timer for an exceptionally consistent speed grind by time

  • Upgraded cooling system with industry's leading fans rated at IP55. Noted to be the best in the market, these fans efficiently stabilize the cooling of the internal temperature of the entire grinder.

  • Removable rear panel for quick and efficient repairs or upgrades.

  • Two additional safety switches have been added, one under the hopper and one behind the exit spout. These will automatically stop the grinder if either is removed, making the end of day cleaning and maintenance a simplified and safe process

The titanium-coated Anfim grinders are primarily resilient and wear down is extremely low. You can expect a precise and homogenous cut, thanks to the unique design of the blades, resulting in a coffee powder that has enhanced aromatic yield during the extraction phase.

GRINDER’S RPM

Unlike classic flat grinders, here, the grinder’s rpm is significantly low. This particular attribute leads to lower heat or friction and higher yields during the grinding process. This is one of the core factors making SP450 the ideal choice for daily use in cafes, bars, restaurants, etc.

DUAL-FAN
COOLING SYSTEM

The integrated dual-fan cooling mechanism in Anfim is smart, silent, and effective. There is a streamlined build of airflow from the bottom to the top. Also, the fan underneath pulls in the fresh air that passes through the grinder, reducing the heat build-up. The excess heat is ejected by a second fan placed above. This clever ventilation process makes the Anfim grinder extremely efficient.

The dosage regulator can be adjusted with incredible precision: variations can even reach a hundredth of a second, thanks to the use of a digital timer.
